yesterday when colorado was completely illegal in iwas--when marijuana was illegal in colorado, they came in for it. once you leave colorado, the laws of the state that you are in still apply. if people choose to come to colorado because they know that we are a state that now focuses resources on serious and violent crimes and has more tax revenue to make sure that our streets are clean safe and well lit, and we have educated children because we're rebuilding colorado's crumbling schools because of the tax revenues from marijuana sales, i don't know what the problem is. >> in amsterdam they legalizeed pot and the netherlands fell apart, except that they didn't. that's an interesting point. as we have some losses. arkansas rejected medical use and montana upheld strict medical and washington approved recreation use even though they have medical marijuana. >> i think we can set--we can model for the rest of the nation that marijuana is safer when it's off the streets and behind the counter. that you can treat it like you treat alcohol and the sky is not going to fall. in arkansas and o
